I’m pregnant and was given a dress code at the gym – my outfit wasn’t even revealing

A PREGNANT fitness fan was not only given a dress code about her outfit at her regular gym, but the owner’s wife said so.

She didn’t find the hairstyle revealing or showing much skin, but it was still an obvious problem for reasons that people think had to do with something else.

Wife Emi Romero (@emandandrew) maintains a consistent workout regimen despite being five months pregnant.

She sat in her car and explained how her fitness center had a dress code TikTok video partly because of her growing belly.

As a former physique competitor, Emi attends a bodybuilder gym, filled with mostly men and featuring images of other competitors in very little clothing and bikinis.

“When I quit my job because I was moving back to the area, they told me they had a new dress code where they didn’t allow sports bras,” she said.

She thought it was a strange new rule, but pushed it aside.

“I’m having a hard time getting dressed now that I’m pregnant, so I’m wearing this tank top today,” she added before showing off a photo.

Due to her growing stomach, the tank top moved up slightly, revealing a bit of skin around her waist.

The whole time while she was training, the owner’s wife just stared at her.

Eventually the gym owner came over and had a chat before saying she had a problem with her top.

She responded that she wasn’t wearing a sports bra and he said he knew that, but his wife found it “difficult to distinguish what a sports bra is.”

He told her she had two choices: leave or put on a top, which shocked and embarrassed her.

She looked around and saw other women with their stomachs out and wearing shorts, but nothing was said to them.

Emi tried to be respectful, but found it “quite insulting” and didn’t want to remain a member of a gym where she felt like she was doing it.

She ended up calling it “the most awkward, awkward encounter.”

Many viewers agreed that there was an ulterior motive as to why she had a dress code.

“The woman didn’t have a problem with your outfit. She had a problem with you being incredibly beautiful,” one person commented.

“Put that membership on and leave a review with your photo in the outfit attached. That lady needs therapy if she thinks that’s a problem,” another TikTok user wrote.

“You’re definitely a topic at their dinner table. His wife is a hater because you are beautiful,” one woman said.
