88 missiles and 66 drones are said to have been used in the airstrike that targeted civilian infrastructure in several cities.

Dnipro, Zaporizhia and Kharkov were all attacked from above Putin used the full force of his deadly weapons.

Footage even captured the terrifying moment a KH-101 cruise missile flew at 600mph destroyed Ukraine’s largest hydroelectric power station.

But it is Kharkiv that appears to have been hardest hit, with several power stations affected, leaving the northeastern city without electricity and facing water shortages.

There are fears this could be a prelude to a full-scale invasion by Putin as he pushes for major territorial gains, according to independent Verstka media. Russian sources, report.

“The next [target] According to the plan, Kharkov is working on preserving the city,” said a Kremlin source.

“And that is only possible if it is surrounded.

“There are 300,000 snouts missing.

“That is why everything is ready for mobilization 2.0.”

The theory is that the West is abandoning its support for this country Ukraine and a strong attack can neutralize the country by capturing its second city intact, without the destruction caused by Putin’s forces when they Mariupol invaded.

“Nobody wants to turn Kharkiv into another Mariupol,” the source said.

So “there is an idea” to make it a showcase of how the Russians “know how to fight in a civilized way.”

Putin has already defied pressure from his wives and mothers to allow reservists at the front to come home.

Now he will apparently call up hundreds of thousands more reservists – Russians who have completed military service and are technically ready for combat.

He will also push conscripts completing their one-year military service to sign contracts to wage war, Verstka said.

The goal is 300,000 additional troops to capture Kharkov – the first phase of what is believed to be Putin’s 10-step plan to NATO at war with Russia.

In January, a detailed military report was leaked the Russian tyrant’s possible ‘road to conflict’ – starting last month and ending in 2025.

And it turns out now Putin remains eerily close to that plan.

However, Ukraine believes that the number of troops to be deployed is closer to 100,000.

Ukraine’s ground forces commander said Friday that the mobilization could be used for a possible new offensive push this summer, or to replenish depleted units. Reuters report.

Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk told Ukrainian television: “It will not necessarily be an offensive.

“Maybe they will replenish their units that have lost combat capabilities, but there is a possibility that by the beginning of the summer they will have some forces to carry out offensive operations.”

However, Putin’s latest moves have reportedly prompted the Kremlin to finally admit that Russia is at “war.”

Shifting the language used to describe the conflict is an apparent step to prepare the Russians for a longer and tougher fight.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told local media on Friday: “We are in a state of war.

“Yes, it started as a special military operation, but as soon as this group was formed, when the collective West on the side of Ukraine took part in this, it became a war for us.

“I am convinced of that. And everyone should understand this, because of their internal motivation.”

The confirmation of the war also gives the Russian authorities more leeway vis-à-vis their own people to announce decisions that are more often related to war, such as further mobilization.

Tatiana Stanovaya, founder of the analysis agency R.Politik, said: “Now it is official: the SMO (Special Military Operation) is recognized as a war.

“Of course, the SMO became a war long ago, but this is a certain psychological limit beyond which different requests can be made to both the population and the elites than during the SMO.”

Mark Galeotti, author of several books on Putin and Russia, said Peskov’s comments sent a strong message to the Russian public.

“That internal mobilization is actually the most important thing,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “The Kremlin’s demand that every Russian adopt a war mentality and realize that there is now no middle ground between being a patriot and a traitor.”
