In March 2019, Tamblyn reminded fans of the enviable dynamics of the quad with a social media post on International Women’s Day.
“I give a shout-out to the women I’ve been through hell and back with,” she says wrote via Instagram. “I don’t see the women enough, but when I do, we pick up where we left off. The women I have held and the women who have held me, both literally and figuratively.”
Tamblyn continued: “The women I have performed with, gotten into fights with, wiped down a dance floor, cried at each other’s weddings, kissed each other’s brand new babies, drank A LOT of wine, had sleepovers with, had a meltdown with and had life-changing experiences with. A compliment to all sisterhoods that have done the same for each other.”
Gilmore Girls alum Bledel revealed a year earlier that the women always make time for each other despite their busy schedules. “We don’t see each other often because of everyone’s work or family and stuff,” Bledel said during an April 2018 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. ‘But when everyone is in town, we do that too [get together].”
In addition to their tradition of meeting up on New Year’s Eve and celebrating major life events together, the stars of the Sisterhood franchise has been teasing an on-screen comeback for years.
